Holiday Details

Day 1: Rhinos, Murchison Falls National Park
Drive to Murchison Falls, have a stop at the Rhino Sanctuary. Rhinos are being re-introduced in Uganda under the Rhino Fund.The sanctuary is not only home to the rhinos but also to approximately 20 other species of wildlife as well as 300 different bird species highlighting Uganda’s unique biodiversity and emphasizing the importance of conserving it. The conservation effort is proving successful as we see the numbers of wildlife growing within the sanctuary.

Day 2: Game Drive and Boat Ride
Go for an early morning game drive. This is a beautiful drive across Borassus Palm Forest and grassland savannah down to Lake Albert where the Albert Nile heads north. Drive in the open African savanna in search for Lions, Leopard, Hyena, Buffalo, Elephant, Jackson Hartebeest, Oribi, Waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, and enjoy spotting various Bird species such as the Secretary Bird, Black Chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Marshal Eagles Carmine and Swallow Tailed Bee-Eaters, and many more….. In the afternoon, go for a boat ride up the Nile, to Murchison falls, whence the park derives its name. Enjoy these spectacular falls. The Nile squeezes through a 7meter gap, and at the bottom bask Huge Nile Crocodiles. You have an option to climb the cliff, to the top of the falls revealing another startling side of these falls. Return to Hotel by car.


Day 3: Second Game Drive
Go for another game drive, and have another chance to see more wildlife, in the afternoon relax at the Hotel, enjoy a swim in the sun, sometimes Elephants come by the pool, when at Paraa Lodge.


Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking
Early in Morning, drive to Kanio pabidi, part of Budongo Forest, and track Chimpanzees, the Apes closest to man. The walk takes 3-4 hours. Afterwards drive to Kampala. The Kaniyo Pabidi forest extends over an expanse of approximately 8 km within the middle of Kichumbanyobo gate. It is a habitant for quite a number of species of birds such as the yellow-footed flycatcher, the Ituri batis in addition to the white thitghed hornbill. 


Day 5: Ngamba Island, Chimp Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will take a boat at either 9am or 10.30am from Entebbe pier and then head for Ngamba Island. Ngamba Island was set up as a sanctuary for orphaned chimps. You shall be in time for their feeding time as Guides offer various interpretations to the visitors. Afterwards you could choose to go to the zoo or Botanical gardens.
Later Proceed to the Airport to catch your flight back Home.
